What is Covid 19 Refund Policy of Jetblue Airlines?

New Bookings:
Bookings must be made by March 31, 2021, or before. There might be fare variations. A JetBlue Travel Bank Credit in the sum of the flight fare plus any related taxes and fees will be issued for eligible adjustments, valid only for future JetBlue air travel. Only the first rebooking will be available under this policy after the corresponding booking window has expired, and will be subject to the fare rules and Contract of Carriage in place at the time of the rebooking. This policy is in effect across all booking channels. Group reservations must be made by calling JETBLUE on their customer care number, Option 2. This policy only applies to the travel portion of a JetBlue Vacations kit.
Open Bookings:
- JetBlue is pleased to provide additional flexibility with an expanded travel window for eligible tickets purchased before June 1, 2020, due to the unparalleled effect of COVID-19. This extension only applies to open-status tickets obtained via a GDS.
- Unused tickets with an original travel date between February 27, 2020 and June 30, 2020 that were purchased before June 1, 2020 and are still in open status are available for exchange until December 31, 2021. By June 30, 2022, all travel must be completed.
- Tickets purchased after June 1, 2020 will have a 12-month expiration date.
- Fees for modifications and cancellations are not charged. There is no need to sign a waiver.
Change and Cancellation:
- Customers with current bookings made through March 31, 2021 will be exempt from change/cancellation fees. You can rebook on any flight through the end of our schedule if you wish. There could be a fare gap.
- Funds will be provided as a JetBlue Travel Bank Credit for voluntary cancellations. JetBlue Vacations Credit will be given in exchange for JetBlue Vacations bookings. Travel credits can be used for any JetBlue destination and for any traveler in the future.

Already Cancelled:
If you voluntarily cancelled your reservation while the flight was still scheduled to leave, the ticket is subject to the relevant fare laws, including the chance of obtaining a JetBlue Travel Bank Credit.
If Jetblue Cancelled Your Flight:
- If JetBlue cancels your flight and you had a confirmed reservation at the time of cancellation, you have the following options:
- At no extra expense, fly on the next available JetBlue flight.
- Receive a JetBlue Travel Bank Credit that can be used for potential JetBlue flights.
- If your flight cannot be rebooked within two hours, you will be refunded in the original form of payment (120 minutes).
- Additionally, under our Customer Bill of Rights, flights that are cancelled within four hours of their scheduled departure are liable for reimbursement.
If Jetblue Changes Your Flight:
If JetBlue changes your flight, you have the following choices, depending on the nature of the change.
if Flight Was Changed By 60 Minutes Or Less Than That:
Any further changes you make voluntarily will be subject to applicable fees as well as any airfare increases.

If Flight Was Changed Between 61 Minutes To 119 Minutes:
At no extra cost, you could fly on another JetBlue flight on the same day, the day before, or the day after your original flight.
Cancel and earn a JetBlue Travel Bank Credit, which can be used for future JetBlue flights.
If Flight Was Changed By 2 Hours:
- You can fly on another JetBlue flight for no additional cost within 7 days of your original flight.
- Cancel and earn a JetBlue Travel Bank Credit, which can be used for future JetBlue flights.
- Cancel and get a refund with your initial payment method.
- Changed To A Connecting/Stopover Flight:
- You can fly on another JetBlue flight for no additional cost within 7 days of your original flight.
